Welcome to Our Office

We are glad you decided to take a virtual tour of our office, but it's nothing like seeing the real thing! So, if you're in the area, please stop by.
Reception Area

As you enter, our scheduling coordinator will greet you. She will help you sign in and answer any of your immediate questions.
Sign In Area
The computer sign in lets the treatment area know the minute you arrive for your appointment. Simply click on your photograph! This allows us to have your appointment completed within the scheduled time.
Kids Waiting Area
The kids (and some adults!) enjoy playing in the game area. There are complimentary video games and a big screen TV around the corner for movies. There are also chairs where the parents can sit comfortably and read without being too far from their kids. The only complaint from the kids is that we call them for their appointment too quickly!
Adult Waiting Area

The adult waiting area is located opposite the game area. This area tends to be a little quieter with soft music and a TV to keep up with the latest news. There is also a refreshment bar for your enjoyment.
Note Area
These desks are located in the adult waiting area and are equipped with two jacks to accommodate modem connections. This is a great place to catch up on some work during longer appointments or siblings can do homework without the distractions of the games.
Consultation

The consult rooms have a reclining chair for Dr. Johnston to evaluate your bite. These rooms are used primarily for new patient exams. The rooms also have computers to help with patient education.
Sterilization Area

The sterilization area is adjacent to the operatory. All steel instruments are autoclaved (cleaned with steam). Instruments that cannot withstand the temperature of steam are cleaned with liquid sterilants or disinfectants.
Treatment Area

The open bay area allows us to efficiently treat patients. Each chair is equipped with a computer where we input details regarding your appointment. This system also allows us to quickly view x-rays, photos, and treatment history.
